Leicester based Baker & Soars joins New Time Media

We are pleased to be working closely with Baker & Soars plumbing merchants an established plumbing merchant situated in the heart of Leicester; serving the local and UK marketplace.

In an ever competitive marketplace Baker & Soars have continued to hold on to its high standards of salesmanship and delivery to its customer base while being a fantastic resource for trade and public alike to source and buy items from brand name manufacturers to the more difficult to find pieces that make your plumbing application/parts work; something the company has done successfully for 70 years.

New Time Media where tasked with building Baker & Soars plumbing merchants an online presence that would enable them to start interacting and selling to the public via an online presence. while building an ever growing presence that would securing their digital position for years to come.

The first stage to the website project has been to get a working site live with minimal functionality in order to move the company forward with a web presence (something it did not have). After several meetings with the companies Director we decided on first creating a presence for the company that would allow the company to start offering information and exclusive deals, with a long term vision of selling all the parts it currently holds in stock to the general public and trade.

The first stage has now been completed and introduces a suite of social media access that includes Google+, Twitter and WordPress support. Additional to these social media angles the site also includes the New Time Media video suite which allows Baker and Soars staff to add videos from a multitude of services including uploading of their own files to the Baker and Soars site.

We are now at the stage of training the Baker & Soars staff on how to best interact with the functionality that has been provided while looking at the early reactions from visitors in order to assess the best use of the staffs time.

We are now in preparation of the next stage which is to add the e-commerce facility to the site.
